Counting down until Uganda.

So this summer I will be traveling to a new continent for me; Africa. I will be spending three weeks in Uganda for a 6 credit history class about the country and its political system. I am super excited, and preparations have begun. I checked my passport, airline tickets have been bought, and I’ve started my multiple vaccinations. Shots, pills, and doctors visits. It’s a bit crazy. But all of it will be worth it when I get to there. The culture is so different there, I can’t wait to experience it and interact with the people who live in such a different world. China was an amazing experience, but Africa is a whole new world, without the technological advancements that the US and China and Europe enjoy. The national park is what I predict will be my favorite part.

I leave May 17 and come home June 8. Which means I leave in 84 days.
